Chelsi Petersen Memorial Scholarship (PDF)

The Chelsi Petersen Memorial Scholarship has been established by the friends and family of Chelsi Dawn Petersen who died in a tragic car accident on June 6, 2008. The scholarship will be awarded to a male or female high school senior who has attended at least one year at Dixie, Snow Canyon, Desert Hills or Pine View High School. The student must have participated in at least one sport and intends to further his/her education at any higher education institution in any field. The preferred candidate is one who has a true personal and family financial need, demonstrated a strong work ethic in their chosen sport and demonstrated a strong work ethic maintaining a 3.0 or higher GPA. The amount may vary from year to year, depending on the amount of funds raised at "Chelsi's Run (a local fund raiser in memory of Chelsi). Completed applications should be turned in to their school counselor. School counselors will select the top 4 applications from students at their school and submit them to Pam Graf at the WCSD for final selection.

Application deadline is before the last Friday in March

Glennis O. Sampson Memorial Scholarship (PDF)

State Bank of Southern Utah Scholarship (PDF)

Graduating seniors may apply for this scholarship to be used at any university, college or career and technical school. Recipients of this scholarship will be judged on honors, leadership position, activities, and financial need.

Applications are due before the second week in April

Applications are to be submitted to the Washington County School District Foundation
